The Avlon Welsh Pony Stud has as most
people been going through drought and Equine Influenza it seems
forever but hopefully
light is at the end of the tunnel.
I have
sold most of the sec A geldings that have been broken and going
kindly under
saddle being
Avlon Puzzle to Armidale NSW, Nattai Simpson to Kerry Qld,
Avlon Maple is under offer to Wellington,
The show Sec A filly Avlon
Chickowee has gone to a new home at Gilgandra NSW
along with a SEC B
gelding Amaranda Otis,
Amaranda Star Bangle has gone
to
Victoria to live she is a part Welsh
and Australian pony
and Avlon Tear Drop by my Stallion Nattai Seraph from Nattai Rain
Drop has gone to her new home at
Nattai River. Being the best
performed filly (Sec A) over both rings at the NEB foal Show.
As you can see my Avlon ponies are getting around
My filly foal Avlon Widgeon dam
Avlon
Jenny Wren (winner of the VIC foal Futurity in 2006) sire Nattai
Seraph and a
Granddaughter of Nattai Widgeon was awarded supreme
Champion Foal at the Morongo all breeds foal show.
Nattai Widgeon being the pony Lady Creswick gave to my son Garry
McCarthy.
I went to a number of NSW country
shows earlier in the year with Amaranda Summer Storm who is working
very well now under
saddle and I am looking forward to the coming
show season with him.
Nattai Simpson who is sold was also
making a stand in the show ring. Amaranda Star Bangle was also on
the show trail and had a lot
of experience winning supreme Champion
Australian Pony at the Bathurst Royal. My 2yr old filly Avlon Chickowee was reserve
champion Mare or Filly, Amaranda Summer Storm was Champion
Welsh Gelding,
Nattai Seraph was Champion Sec A stallion or Colt and Amaranda Zerkon was champion Sec B Stallion or Colt
(now gelded and
for sale, details under sales page)
Having had some lovely foals in 2007
I am looking forward to the 2008 drop by both stallions Nattai
Seraph and Amaranda Admiral.
Admiral is breeding some beautiful
large ponies and Galloways.
I have leased Nattai Nerod for the
coming season to try over a few of my mares and am hopeful of a good
result.
I still have my Jack Russel dogs,
though i lost 2 this summer with a brown snake.
We are very happy to have visitors
however an appointment would be a good idea as I work off the place
on odd days
If you have any queries please don't hesitate
to contact me by phone or email.
